The birthplace of Vuk Stefanović Karadžić, the reformer of the Serbian language and collector of folk literature. The restored house where he was born, an ethnographic complex and the nearby Tronoša Monastery form a memorial complex where the Vuk Assembly (Vukov sabor) has been held since 1933.
