Cetinje Monastery

The seat of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral. The first monastery was built in 1484 by Ivan Crnojević; it was destroyed in 1692, and the present one was built by Bishop Danilo at the beginning of the 18th century. The monastery keeps the relics of Saint Peter of Cetinje.
