The endowment of the protovestiarios Bogdan, a nobleman at the time of Despot Stefan Lazarević. Kalenić is regarded as the most harmonious building of the Morava school, and its frescoes, including the Wedding at Cana, rank among the summits of 15th-century Serbian painting.
