Monument to the Liberators of Niš

A horseman — a soldier of the Morava Division with the flag of freedom — in the centre of Niš, a monumental work by sculptor Antun Augustinčić. The monument commemorates the wars of liberation against the Ottomans and the liberation of the city in the First World War, and it has been protected since 1983.
