Of exceptional importance
The Cathedral Church of the Holy Archangel Michael was built on the orders of Prince Miloš Obrenović, on the site of an older church, as the seat of the Metropolitanate of Belgrade. Vuk Stefanović Karadžić and Dositej Obradović are buried in the churchyard, and Princes Miloš and Mihailo Obrenović inside the church.
