The cathedral church of the Bishopric of Prizren, rebuilt by King Milutin on the foundations of an older basilica. The master builder Nikola and the painter Astrapas created here one of the most mature works of the Palaiologan Renaissance. Under Ottoman rule the church was turned into a mosque, and in the March 2004 violence it was badly damaged by fire.
