The endowment and burial place of Emperor Dušan in the gorge of the Prizrenska Bistrica. The monastery was destroyed at the beginning of the 17th century and its stone was used to build the Sinan Pasha Mosque in Prizren. Dušan’s relics were moved to Belgrade in 1927, to St Mark’s Church. Monastic life has been restored; the monastery buildings were burnt in March 2004.
