Đurđevi Stupovi Monastery in Berane
Berane, Budimlja · Montenegro
The endowment of Stefan Prvoslav, son of Grand Župan Tihomir, Nemanja’s eldest brother, completed in 1213 in the old župa of Budimlja. In 1219 Saint Sava founded the Bishopric of Budimlja here and enthroned its first bishop, Jakov. The founder is buried in the monastery.
