Piva Monastery
Plužine, Piva · Montenegro
Built in 1573–1586, it is the largest Serbian Orthodox church built under Ottoman rule and is known for its rich wall paintings. Because of the construction of a dam and lake on the Piva, the monastery was moved to a new site stone by stone, together with its frescoes; the work was completed in 1982. Its treasury also holds a psalter from the Crnojević printing house.
