Gomirje Monastery

The westernmost Serbian Orthodox monastery, in Gorski Kotar, founded according to tradition around 1600. At its centre is the Church of the Nativity of Saint John the Forerunner from 1719. It belongs to the Eparchy of Upper Karlovac of the Serbian Orthodox Church.
