Old Palace (Stari dvor)

Belgrade · Serbia

The palace that King Milan Obrenović built in 1881–1884 at the centre of the first royal court complex in Serbia, at the corner of Kralja Milana and Dragoslava Jovanovića streets. It was the residence of the Obrenović dynasty, then of King Peter I Karađorđević and, until 1922, of King Alexander; together with the New Palace it bears witness to the reign of two Serbian dynasties. Today it is the seat of the City Assembly of Belgrade.
